Wishing to extend her caring nature outside of the dentist office, Dr. Giordano searched for an organization with a strong reputation for providing support to the local community. The obvious choice was the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey. The American Red Cross and their dedicated team of volunteers are extremely active and they have a long resume of successful interventions in the area.
Over the years
The American Red Cross of Northern NJ has given thousands of local residents shelter when they had no where else to go. They have connected families with loved ones fighting for our country over seas. Recently they put forth an enormous effort to assist in the rebuilding and repairs needed after the flooding caused by hurricane Irene and the power outages of the October snowstorm.
Dr. Giordano commented, “ The American Red Cross is an organization I have always respected and believed in. When I came into the position where I was able to invest in a worthwhile cause, the American Red Cross was my first choice.”
Dr. Giordano was able to present her donation in person at an event sponsored by
LeTip of Clifton and the American Red Cross of Northern New Jersey. During the event the CEO of the Northern New Jersey chapter of the American Red Cross, Ray Shepherd said, “It is the mission of the Red Cross to be there for the community when disaster strikes. Our organization would not be able to take care of the victims of these natural disasters without our volunteers and the donations from individuals and corporations present here tonight.”
